Tobacco is the annual plant. Its roots are situated deep in the ground but the adult plant may achieve (in dependence on the sort and conditions) three meters in height.
Pipe forms
The number of different pipe forms is so great as the number of cigars formats. The clue parameter is the form and the volume of the pipe cup as well as the curve of chibouk with mouthpiece or without it. The time of smoking depends on the volume of the cup as well as on its form. The taste also depends on these parameters. But the most important thing is the comfort of the pipe. The way it is kept in the mouth and arms is the main factor during the choice of the form.
Apple – is the classical pipe with the round cup and the straight mouthpiece. The chibouk is also round as the cup. The length of chibouk is usually the same as the height of the cup.
Prince – the round pipe. The chibouk is round, short and thin and is continued with long curved mouthpiece. It is little and light pipe. It got its name after the Prince of Wales Albert.
Ball – the cup is made in the form of the ball and has thin chibouk with curved mouthpiece.
Diplomat – is the round and fat in its lower part cup with oval curved mouthpiece. In general it looks like prince but is a little bit bigger.
Egg – The pipe has the form of the egg. You can find this kind of pipe both with curved and straight mouthpiece. It is smoked for a long time thanks to big sizes of the cup.
Hawkbill or Donkeynut has the cup in the form of the ball. Chibouk is long and curved with canon form. Chibouk starts in the lowest part and is connected with the mouthpiece on the level of its top. The mouthpiece is short and is made in the form of cone and is down directed.
